WE invite you to join Justin's family & friends in the first fund raising event in honor of Justin L. Lindstrom, 11, of Galva, who died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee from complications associated with his juvenile diabetes. Justin was born May 12, 2003 in Galesburg to Jason D. and Ruth A. (Hoye ) Lindstrom he also has a sister, Patricia. Justin attended Galva Elementary School, where he was a member of the school band and would have been entering the sixth grade. He was an orange belt in Kung Fu and he enjoyed biking, swimming, remote control cars, music and playing the drums.Justin was known for being an extremely helpful, very polite and well mannered individual who loved everyone. Initially a memorial was set up directed to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. (JDRF)

Now his family has decided to continue to support the efforts to find better treatments and cures for Juvenile Diabetes. Some of the best rock musicians in the area have volunteered to create a huge benefit honoring Justin's love for life, & music. Proceeds will go to the JDRF.
